| There were several historical markers at Battery Robinette but since the National Park Service took over Battery Robinette they are no longer there. The only marker that remains is the one above which is located down the road from Battery Robinette and it was placed by the MS Dept. of Archives and History. But I will keep the markers on this web site. They are linked below. They were not placed by the Mississippi Dept. of Archives and History but I think they were placed by the City of Corinth. My wife and I did get to visit the Civil War Interpretive Center right after it's dedication on July 24th, 2004. A lot of people do not realize the Battle of Shiloh was over Corinth Mississippi. |
