I live in Caledonia Mississippi with my family, two birds, and two dogs whose names are "Spunky" and "Ginger."
I am employeed with Gulf States Manufacturing in Starkville Mississippi as a B Detailer. After having hip replacement surgery in November 2003, I became unemployeed due to the physical restrictions of an artifical hip. I went back to school at East Mississippi Community College and obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Drafting & Design Technology. Approximately six weeks after graduating, I started working at GSM on June 12, 2006.
My oldest son is a senior at MUW and is now doing his student teaching. For 7 weeks, he will be at Lee Middle School in Columbus, and then he will go to Hamilton High School. My middle child is a HM3 in the navy and in currently stationed at Jacksonville NAS. In May of this year, he will be transferred from Fleet Hospital to Fleet Marine, and hopefully, will become Marine Embassy medic instead of combat medic. I pray he does not have to go to Iraq as a medic for the Marines. Even though I do not agree with the Democratic party, I hope the now Democratic controlled Congress will get us out of Iraq. My youngest child is a senior at Caledonia High School and she will graduate in May.

I am proud to annouce that I am now a member of the Holt Collier Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp #2018 located in West Point Mississippi. I joined under my great-great uncle Samuel Jasper Richardson who served in the Mississippi 6th Calvary Company H with his twin brother. One thing that I am proud of is that my Richardson ancestors did not own slaves. |
